Melody (Ortiz) Ames, 59, died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Michael L. Ames.
A viewing was held in Red Lion, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Melody was born in San Jose, CA. on November 20, 1956. She was the daughter of Petra (Noriega)Ortiz and the late Felix Ortiz. Melody was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ames was a member of the Family Worship Center in Red Lion. She enjoyed quilting and most importantly, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Michael, Melody is survived by two daughters, Valerie Trejo and her husband, Vincent of Wrightsville, PA and Sarah Snell of Boise, ID; Six grandchildren, Abryanna, Josiah, Jordan, Alexandra, Dominick and Madison; three brothers Sam, Jimmy and George; and two sisters, Carol and Margarita.
Church services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 7250 Forest Street, Gilroy.
Graveside Services Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
