Maxine Siderits peacefully passed away on Sunday February 26, 2023, she was 87 years old.

She was proceeding in death by her husband, Rudy Siderits and survived by her beloved son Mark Siderits (Jody); her beloved daughter Marlo Cappeto (Chris); Grandchildren: Mandy Ryan (Patrick); Michelle Decker (Darrol), Nicole Forrest (Shaun) & Anthony Cappeto. Great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Kassie, Molly & Kellan Ryan; Darrol & Jason Decker; Summer & Cole Forrest.

Maxine was raised in Gilroy, CA and attended Gilroy High School where she was a graduate of the class of 1953. After marrying Rudy in 1954 she moved to San Martin, CA where she had lived for the last 69 years. It was there that Maxine & Rudy raised Mark & Marlo. In her early years she enjoyed her weekly bowling league at Gilroy Bowl, trips to the Delta with Rudy and close friends and weekend adventures with Rudy to the Morgan Hill Flea Market. In her later years she loved her weekend trips with the girls to Capitola, CA and the monthly dinners with her classmates from Gilroy High School. With family always close by she enjoyed watching not only her grandchildren grow, but also her great-grandchildren who of course brought her the most joy.

Services will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at 2:00 at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy.
