Obituary
Maurice "Red" L. Elder, age 95, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2011 in Gilroy, CA. He was the beloved husband of two lovely ladies, Rosalie and Dickie Elder. Loving father of Charles (Betty) Elder, Linda (Bobby) Garcia, Donna (Lonnie) Beckenhauer and Robert (Michelle) Stuckey and the late Michael Elder. Loving father-in-law of Rosemary Elder. Dearest grandfather of 16, great-grandfather of 16 and great- great-grandfather of 1.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, teacher, coach, mentor and friend.
We the Elder Family would like to thank everyone at Village Green and Odyssey Hospice for all the care that they gave to our father.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011, at 10:00 AM at The Garcia Residence, 100 Cohansey Avenue, Gilroy, CA.
Inurnment will be private at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
Donations to your favorite charity would be preferred.
