It is with great sadness that the family of longtime San Martin resident Mary M. Silva announce her passing at her home on December 4, 2018.

Mary was born in Santa Cruz, Madeira Island, Portugal. She came to Santa Clara, CA, with her family, at the age of 1 year. Mary met her husband, Louis P. Silva at Martin's Beach in 1939 and married July 7, 1940. Together they owned dairy farms in San Jose and San Martin.

Mary is survived by son William Silva, granddaughter Lindsay Silva, sister Lorraine (John) Figueira and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Louis P. Silva and daughter Shirley Silva.

A Visitation will begin 2:00 PM followed by a 6:00 PM Vigil Service, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at St. Catherine Church, Morgan Hill. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
