Mary Jean Navarrete passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Martin Seanez & Carmen Seanez and daughter Peggy Jean Espinoza. Mary is survived by her husband Salvador Navarrete, son Salvador (Tina) Navarrete, daughter Elizabeth (Kenneth) Duron, daughter Kathy, son Frank, daughter Susan (Adam) Deleon; Grandchildren Deliah (Titus) Karvon, Adam J. Deleon, Ryan Navarrete, Frankie Navarrete, Alena Navarrete; and Great grandchildren Titus J. Karvon, Alani Rose Deleon. She was a beloved sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in El Monte California on November 15, 1933. She married Salvador Navarrete on December 20, 1953. They raised 6 children and lived happily together for 66 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother to not only her children but to those she came in contact with. She was a mother to many more than just her children.

She loved to cook and you felt her love in her cooking. She worked and cooked at Christopher Ranch for many years. She loved to see everyone enjoying her food and no matter what time of day you entered her home she always made sure you had something to eat. She would say "well you have to eat".

She enjoyed music, dancing and family gatherings. She always looked forward to our traditional tamale making on Christmas Eve with the Seanez family and friends who would stop by.

She enjoyed going to the casino and playing slot machines and her lottery tickets, she called them "scratches ".

She leaves us with a lifetime of memories and a life to emulate. Mary will be missed for her loving gentleness and warm smile. Her husband and family want to thank you for all the love and support.
