Mary Dossetti, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully on Christmas morning at her home in Morgan Hill.
She is survived by her husband John Dossetti, daughters Kathleen Dossetti and Lisa Oliver (Ken), grandchildren Adam Guzman (Dianna) and Kendra Oliver, great-grandson Logan Guzman and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Kathleen Holmes, sister Ann, brothers Samuel and Robert, and daughter Joanne.
Mary graduated from Merced High School in 1947 concentrating her studies in business. In 1953 she married Merced dairy rancher, John Dossetti. Throughout their married life they also lived in San Jose and Hollister before eventually settling in Morgan Hill.
She began working at the age of 17 in various secretarial positions. In 1975 she became a Real Estate agent and sold homes in the Morgan Hill area for 15 years. She later retired from the State of California's Employment Development Department.
Mary will be remembered as an aspiring writer and an avid reader who had an extensive book collection. She was a talented pianist and had a beautiful singing voice. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on January 14, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church 16970 DeWitt Avenue, Morgan Hill. Private burial services were held at Mount Hope cemetery.
