Mary Ellen (Net) Diaz, age 84, passed away on August 29th, 2020 after a very lengthy illness. She was
born on December 29th,1935 in Azusa, CA to Seferino and Martha Ramos.

The family moved from Azusa and settled in Gilroy where she met and married Librado (Lalo) Perez and
they raised their four children in Gilroy. She is survived by her children Lorraine Valencia, Liz Martinez
(Lucio Jr), Jimmy Perez , David Perez, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family
meant everything to her and she liked to play and sing ``You are the sunshine of my life" to her kids
when they were growing up. She was very affectionate and you knew how much she loved you.

She loved children and ran a home daycare for over twenty years. She always said ``It's the only job that
can love you back''. She helped raise a lot of kids and had very fond memories of them.

She and Lalo divorced after the kids were grown and she later in life married Leonard Diaz. Mom and
Leonard loved to travel and visit new places. They especially liked spending time at Pismo Beach.
Mom had a very loving, caring heart. She was a positive person who always saw the good side of
everyone. You could always count on her support and encouragement.

She is preceded in death by Lalo, Leonard, her brothers Richard Ramos, Raymond Ramos, Enrique
Ramos, Alfonso Ramos, Alex Ramos and sisters Beatrice Luna, Rachel Diaz as well as nephews that were
raised with her like brothers, Raymond Ramos Jr and Jerry Ramos. She is survived by her brother
Lorenzo Ramos.

The lord has called her home to eternal life, may she rest in peace.
