Mary Costa, of Gilroy, was born October 30, 1922, and passed away February 1, 2012. She is survived by her 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Costa, as well as her parents Luiz and Christina Costa. Mary was a lifetime member of SFV Portuguese Lodge of Mt. View. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation will begin 1pm, Sunday, February 5, with a Vigil Service at 4pm both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be said 11 am, Monday, February 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Gilroy. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
