Mary Vizza Bozzo passed away in her sleep on September 10, 2020 at the age of 96 years old.  Mary was born in San Jose on February 3, 1924 to Marco and Theresa Vizza.  Mary was the oldest of 3 children. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Vizza and her sister Gloria Vizza Frisone.  She married her husband John Bozzo (deceased in 2004) in 1946 and shared a great life together.  They owned and operated the Farm Supply Company in Gilroy from 1955 to 1975. They also were partners in Bozzo Brother's Orchards, south of Gilroy.

Mary genuinely loved raising flowers of all kinds and in her early years and sold them to the local nurseries.  Among her favorites were orchids, camelia's, roses, asters, tulips and iris.  She had a hothouse and was often found in there.  Her yard was always very colorful.

She is survived by her loving children John (Nancy) of Gilroy, Nancy of Hollister, grandchildren Matthew of Gilroy, Catie (Dustin) of Arbuckle and great grandchildren Peter and John of Arbuckle.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Mary was a faithful member of St Mary Catholic Church. Private services were held due to covid-19.  A planned celebration will be held at a later date.
