Maria Nieves Anzualda born on March 22, 1967 and died September 3, 2017.  The Anzualdas' this month have lost a special daughter and sister on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 1:30  pm.  She joins her father, Ramon G. Anzualda in heaven.  She leaves behind her loving mother, Maria L. Anzualda and two sisters Rosie and Ruth and her husband Octavio Pacheco.  Three nieces Maria and her husband Leonard Beltran, Ruthie and Erica and her husband Noel Luna.  Also great nieces and nephews, Romeo, Elijah Isaiah, Deja, Leonard Jr., Kayla, Johnny and Brittany of 7 months and a great-great nephew Josiah.

Mary was born in Santa Clara and lived in Gilroy all her life.  She lived with her family in Gilroy on Lilly Avenue.

She attended Gateway for 22 years and graduated from there.  She then attended 2 other programs and finally joined The Training Center on 1st Street.  She also did Special Olympics in our local town.  She also attended the State Games at Berkeley.  She also participated in the Community Services  Therapeutic Program, she loved the Bowling class and Tournament and enjoyed the T.G.I.F. Club which we took trips on Friday all over the Bay Area and in the summer went camping. Our family went to Texas every summer and always stopped at the Grand Canyon and at Flintstone Bedrock City.  We tell Dad to stop at every Native American store.  We also one year went across country to Florida.  We as a family included Mary in a lot of adventures.

We will truly miss our Special Angel!

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
