Mary "Alice" Garbini passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was 83, born January 3, 1927 in Nacogdoches, TX. Alice retired from the Morgan Hill School System after 35 years of service. She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Morgan Hill for over 40 years before moving to Hollister. Alice was very devoted to her children and grandchildren and will be missed dearly. She will be remembered for her generosity to family & friends, her love of Christmas and her countless years and hours of volunteer work with the San Martin PTA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts & 4-H. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Pierce; step father, Harold Pierce; and brother, Hugh Bailey. She is survived by her sisters Judy DeMerritt (Don) and Virginia Keese (Patrick); son Jon Garbini (Jeanie); daughters; Pat Hampton, Linda Walthard (Steve), Cathy Mendez (Gus) and Cindi Joyce (Carl); 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
