Martha "Big Lulu" Vasquez was born in Roswell, New Mexico on August 3, 1955. Martha is proceeded in death by her parents Mathilde Vasquez and Francisco Castro, by her siblings Max, Eddie, Rocky, Francisco, Richard, Guillermo, Rosa, Lupe and Herminia. Martha is survived by her husband of 30 years Bartolo Pio De Jesus, 5 children Marta "Tina", Juanita(Antonio), Juan Pablo(Vanessa), Fidel(Sandra) and Cipriano(Cecilia), by her 18 grandchildren Joel, Angelina, Adela, Aileen, Andrea, Alicia, Ayanna, Angel, Alessandra, Korrina, Mikayla, Levi, Genesis, Ashlymarie, CJ, Navaeh, Cipriano and Baylie, by her 2 great grandchildren Daniel and Lucciano, and by her siblings Pedro, Anna and Angelita, and by , cousins many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

On December 4, 2022 God called Big Lulu home. She was surrounded by her loved ones when she took her last breath. She had the most amazing sense of humor and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren so much. We will all miss Martha but we will never forget her and her heart touching smile.

Big Lulu loved her Dallas Cowboys, dancing, singing and going to the flea market.

Martha loved her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Martha was always the life of the party! When Martha would sing and dance, she would do it with her heart.

We will forever miss her presence on this side of heaven.
