It is with a heavy heart, we share the sudden passing of our mother, Martha Beatriz Cardenas Hernandez on October 3rd, 2024, in Gilroy, California. She was the heart and soul of our family.

Martha was born on October 2nd, 1949, in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico to Luis and Rebecca Cardenas. She grew up in a large family of seven children and was described as a free spirit in her youth. Martha migrated to Gilroy in the 1980s with her husband, where she created beautiful memories with her family. She is survived by her husband, Jesus; four children, Christian, Abraham, Gina, and Jonathan, three daughters-in-law; and 11 grandchildren.

Her passions included gardening, traveling, and cooking meals for her loved ones. Martha also enjoyed music and dancing and found purpose in practicing her faith.

Martha was deeply adored, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts. Please join us in honoring her with a visitation that will be held on October 11th at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 12noon both at Habing Family Funeral Home.
