Marsha Velasco, 69, died peacefully after an illness on May 4, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and friends.  She is survived by her son, Carlos Benitez Jr. (Chucky) and daughter Mandy Pena. Her brother Gary Velasco and cousin Karen Shurden. Also, survived by many nephews and nieces as well as generations of great and great-great nephews and nieces. Marsha was a Gilroyan to the T.  She was an iconic person of her time and always the life of the party.  She will be dearly missed.
