Mark Dennis Haase (a.k.a Bill Kelly) passed away July 19, 2013 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.


Mark was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 17, 1957. At the early age of fifteen Mark began what was to become an extremely successful career in radio broadcasting. After completing his education in New York, Mark/Bill graced the airways in locations across the country including Milwaukee, Rhode Island, Miami, Connecticut, and New York City ultimately establishing a home in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Jose.


Known to all as "Kelly and Kline" on KWSS and Bill Kelly of the "Bill and Marla Show" on KEZR Mix 106.5, he skyrocketed to popularity with thousands of fans in the early morning hours for thirty years. His unique, distinctive voice and personality will be the fond memory of all who knew and loved him.

Mark/Bill was an accomplished Private Pilot, a computer expert and Network Engineer. He was a volunteer and sponsor valued by many charitable groups and organizations. His generosity knew no boundaries.

Mark is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Amy and Craig Havemeyer and his Brother, Paul Haase. His final days were spent in the loving care of his Girlfriend, Cathy Drews and her family. He is and will always be survived by the close friends and families that he embraced in life and the thousands of fans he entertained.
