Marisa will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her strength, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and cared for, and her presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Marisa is survived by her loving mother, Chrissy Cortez; her daughter, Mariah Gutierrez, who was her greatest pride and joy; her fiancé, Louie Marquez; her father, Erik Llewelyn, who lovingly raised her; her brothers, Erik Llewelyn (Kim) and Nicholas Garcia; her nieces, Reyna and Noelani; her nephews, Kai and Koa; along with many other family members and dear friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.

She was reunited in heaven with her beloved grandparents, Richard and Esther Cortez.
