On September 10, 2022, surrounded by family, Jesus took our loving mother by the hands to her peaceful resting place. She now has no more pain or suffering.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Angie Trujillo, the love of her life Richard Lujan Sr., our brothers Ralph L. Lujan and Baby Rudy. Also her brothers Lawerance, John, and Chuck Trujillo, and her sister Josie Flores. She is survived by five children Cyndie Peterson (Alton) of Modesto Ca, Terri Lujan of Gilroy Ca, Richard Lujan Jr. of Madera Ca, Roger Lujan (Anna) of Hollister Ca, and Samantha Cerniglia (Richard) of Morgan Hill Ca. Also by grandchildren Lisa Beltran, Lina Salas (Mat), Richard (Chato) John Lujan (Carla), Nichelle Lujan, Renee Ines (Liz), Anita Lujan (Joey), Stephanie Santos, Monika Santos (Alex), Rudy Lujan, Shante Cerniglia and Jarrod Cerniglia. And 22 great grandchildren.
Born in Deaver, Wy. She was the eldest of six. At the age of 15, she met the love of her life and our dad, Richard Sr. Mother of seven children. She spent 43 years at Gentry's and retired at the age of 60. Her favorite thing was dancing cheek to cheek with dad, and watching her Oakland A`s, as she was an avid A's fan, "That Baby is gone!"
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21 st from 4-9PM at Habing Family Funeral Home. The rosary will be that night at 7pm. The mass will be held the following day, September 22 nd at St. Mary Church at 10AM, followed by the burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
There will be a reception at the veterans hall in Gilroy, following the burial.
