Marianna Fuller Kraus, of Gilroy, CA, passed away peacefully on May 9 ^th , 2018 at the age of 90 years and 4 months. She is survived by husband, Robert E Kraus; son, Paul Kraus and daughters, Susan Costa and Judith Brown; brother, David P Fuller; grandchildren Laura Kraus, Stefan Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Andrew Costa, Emily Costa, and Anna Costa; and great-grandson Elijah Murillo. She was preceded in death by her brother George B Fuller.

Marianna was born in Findlay, Ohio in 1928 to Robert E Fuller and Flossie Brandt Fuller. She grew up in Findlay, and married Bob Kraus there after completing her B.S. in Nursing at Ohio State University in 1949. They celebrated their 68 ^th wedding anniversary last October. While their children were young, they relocated several times in Ohio. They moved to Palo Alto, CA in 1969 where they resided until 2014.

Marianna was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto singing in the church choir, teaching Sunday School, and serving on many committees over the years. She was also a part-time teacher at the preschool held at the church. In Palo Alto she joined the Gaspar de Portola Chapter of the DAR and served on its board. Some of her favorite memories during this time were of the trips she and Bob took to Europe for his business, where they were able to explore many different countries and experience their cultures.

They moved to Gilroy in 2014 to Merrill Gardens and became members at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Marianna was well-known at their new place of residence, joining in on many of the activities there. She shared her love of water color and needlework with other residents. Marianna also joined the Side by Siders Choir in Gilroy and loved to perform with that group. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service for Marianna will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto on Saturday, May 26th at 1:00 pm. A special remembrance of Marianna will be given at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gilroy on Sunday, May 27th at the 9:30 church service.

Her final resting place will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
