Marian Johnson Blair passed away peacefully at home in Morgan Hill, California on Thursday March 22nd, 2018, at the age of 94.

Born on January 11, 1924 in Santa Clara, California, she was the only child of Ralph and Ora Johnson. Marian Adele Johnson was raised as a lady of society, while at the same time held a membership at the local duck club where she spent time with her father.

A graduate of Santa Clara High School in 1941 and of Stanford in 1945, she met her husband, H. Martell Blair on a blind date in May of 1946 and they were married in San Jose on February 23rd, 1947.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Martell Blair, age 99 and her daughter-in-law, Toni Blair.

She is survived by her eldest son Rodger, wife Trisha, their daughter Antigone, husband Alex; her second son Russell; her third son Ralph and wife Abbie; and her youngest son Richard, wife Karen; grandson Daniel, wife Lindsay; granddaughter Kimberly, husband Matt and her great grand children Hunter Martell Blair and Audrey Jean Blair.

Her grace, sophistication, and even tempered nature was noticed and admired by all who knew her, even more so when you found out she raised four sons on a ranch. She will be remembered as a generous hostess who opened her home to friends and members of her church. Marian was a life long sister of PEO and the Chi Omega Sorority.

It has been said of Marian that she embodies all of the fruits of the spirit; and while she will be missed, she will never be gone from our hearts.
