Maria G. Valdez, 91 passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2013. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her surviving children; Alice (Roger) Alfaro, Margaret (Larry) Padron, Elvia Silva, Mariano (Fran) Valdez, Fernie (Cindy) Valdez, Lolly (Ruby) Diaz, Carlos Jr. (Lynda) Valdez, Linda (Raul) Martinez, John (Terri) Valdez, Daniel Valdez, many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Carlos, sons, Richard and Mario, grandson, Roger Lee and sister Sarah Botello.

Visitation will begin 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 25th with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm both at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be 10:00 am Friday, April 26th at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Cemetery burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, our family request that donations be made to St. Mary Catholic Church of Gilroy and/or the Heart Association of Amercia.
