Mrs. Pinheiro passed away at her son's home Tuesday, December 20, 2011 after lengthy illness. Loving mother of Al Pinheiro (Vilma) of Gilroy. Dear grandmother of David Pinheiro (Stefanie) of Gilroy, Gena Pinheiro(Joao Mendonca) of Terceira, Azores and Justin Pinheiro. Great-grandmother of Brittany Gitmed, Donavyn Pinheiro and Natalia Pinheiro. Sister of Rosa Fagundes of Hilmar, CA, Mateus Rocha of Gilroy, Laurentino Rocha of Brazil, Neves Lopes of Gilroy, Ines Toste of Gilroy and the late Jose Rocha and Manuel Rocha. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of Terceira, Azores.

Moved to Gilroy in 1965 and has been a resident ever since. Worked at Cal Can and Gilroy Foods as well as a caretaker for many years.

Member of St. Mary's Church, I.F.D.E.S Lodge and Our Lady of Fatima.

Visitation will begin Friday, December 23, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Habing Family Funeral Home with Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at St. Mary' Cemetery, Gilroy.
