Maria Carmen Magaña falleció el 19 de enero de 2018 en Gilroy. Le sobreviven sus hijos Lorenza López
(Francisco), María Guadalupe García (Guillermo), Francisco Cervantes (Melva) y José Antonio Cervantes (Maya), padre Melitón Magaña, hermano Benjamín Magaña (Berta) y nueve nietos.

María nació el 24 de enero de 1941 en México, donde crió a sus cuatro hijos. Se mudó a los Estados Unidos con sus hijos en la década de 1980, donde trabajó, se hizo ciudadana y vivió rodeada de sus hijos y nietos. Ella pasó su vida dedicada a Dios y a nuestra señora de Guadalupe. Ella era una ávida jardinera y disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos y nietos. Ella fue amada por toda su familia y amigos. Ella se une a su madre Maria Remedios en el cielo.

Visitas el viernes 26 de enero de 2018 comenzando a las 8:00 a.m. en la Funeraria Familiar Habing.

La misa funeral se realizará a las 12:00 del mediodía en la iglesia católica de St. Mary, Gilroy.

Maria Carmen Magana passed away on January 19, 2018 in Gilroy. She is survived by her children Lorenza Lopez (Francisco), Maria Guadalupe Garcia (Guillermo), Francisco Cervantes (Melva) and Jose Antonio Cervantes (Maya), father Meliton Magana, brother Benjamin Magana (Berta) as well as 9 grandchildren.

Maria was born on January 24, 1941in Mexico where she raised her four children. She moved to the United States with her children in the 1980's where she worked, became a citizen and lived surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She spent her life devoted to god and our lady of Guadalupe. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all her family and friends. She joins her mother Maria Remedios in heaven.

Visitation Friday, January 26, 2018 beginning at 8:00 AM at Habing Family Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gilroy.
