Maria "Lupe" Mercado, age 43, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 28, 2014. She was a very strong, stubborn loving women. She was always there to help when in need. You could always count on her to be a friend. She will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her son, Aaron Linares (17), and her daughter, Crystal Mercado (9). Their last words that they would like to say to their mother is "We love you and miss you". She also leaves behind other loving members of her family and many friends.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at The Church of God 7 Days, 7311 Maple Street in Gilroy, CA.
