Maria (Marcy) Dickinson passed away May 29, 2024 in Fresno, California.  Marcy as she is known to her family was born to Jose Rodriguez and Guadalupe Martinez in Brownsville, Texas on December 7, 1942.    As the eldest she had a great responsibility in assisting her parents and caring for her siblings.  In her younger days she worked along her parents and siblings from Texas to Hollister, California working on farms.  Later she attended Gavilan College to become an LVN.  She is best described as strong and independent.  She will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her parents Jose Rodriguez and Guadalupe Martinez, brothers Efraim Rodriguez and Samuel Rodriguez and her husband William Dickinson.

She is survived by brothers Elezar (Gracie) Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez and Joe (Mary) Rodriguez, sisters Maria (Max) Hernandez, Nelda Rodriguez, Olga (Bernie) Salcido, Elida Rodriguez and Sylvia Rodriguez, children Patricia (Randy) Garcia, Steve (Sonia) Ojeda, Joe (Susan) Ojeda, grandson Joe Ojeda Jr., granddaughters Christina and Natalie Garcia and Marina (Ernesto) Pacheco, great-grandsons Ernesto Pacheco Jr., Joey Pacheco, Adrian Pacheco and Hiroshi Ojeda, great-granddaughters Vanessa Pacheco and Amelia Ojeda. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 11:00 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 8:30 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
