Our dear mother Maria Gonzales Cisneros sadly passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 87. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. A friend to many. She was always there when you needed her.

Maria was born in La Paloma, Texas on July 27, 1936 and moved to Gilroy, CA in 1964 where she married and raised her family. She was a breast cancer survivor. A hardworking woman who loved music, dancing and winning big at the casino. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Florencio Cisneros, sister Delia Burrola and brother in law Manuel Burrola, daughters Maria (Danny) Gallagher, Celia Limones, Elisabeth Gois, Amanda (Scott) Hampel, Diana (Martin) Lopez, Carol Murrietta, Rachel Prado and Lisa Clark; sons Ricardo (Becky) Casas and Florencio Cisneros, Jr.; her 37 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Angelita Gonzales, son Ovidio Casas, Jr., brother and sister in law Fidel and Josephina Gonzales, grandson Aric Ovidio Casas and grand daughter Jacklyn Rochelle Limones.

Memorial Services will be held from 6:00 – 9:00pm with a Vigil at 7:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. A Memorial Mass will be said 10:00am, Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Gilroy.
