MARGARITA IBARRA, 68 passed away at her home in Mt. View Thursday, February 24, 2011. Daughter of the late John and Jessie Ibarra. Sister of Moses Ibarra (Nancy) of Reedley, CA, John B. Ibarra of Sacramento, CA and Rachel Perez ( Dr. John Perez) of Gilroy, CA. Aunt of Almendra, John and Ursula Perez, Manuel, Carlos and Sharon Ibarra. Great-Aunt of Samuel Miguel Ibarra.
Niece of Helen Rodriguez and Vee Guevara of San Jose and Ismael Esparza of Iowa. Also survived by many cousins and her close friends Mary McKinney and Leona Los Banos Yee both of Mt. View.

Born and raised in San Jose. Graduated from Santa Clara High School 1961 and San Jose City College. Worked as an Administrative Assistant at Stanford University for over 30 years retiring in 2010. Margarita enjoyed traveling, playing the piano, a fondness for animals and spending time with her comadres.

Vigil Tuesday, March 1, 2011- 7:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Wednesday, March 2, 2011 – 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilroy.
