Margarita Castro passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rudy Castro, her parents Serafina and Felix Espino, siblings Angie Barrera, Robert Angulo, and Cepriano Anguelo.

Margarita was a loving mother to her daughters, Diana (Mark) Filice, and Michelle (Aaron) Mulay. She was a devoted grandmother to Christopher Filice, Kevin (Jessica) Filice, Anthony Mulay, and to her great-granddaughter Gianna Filice. She is survived by her sisters Irma Haro, Carmen Huerta, brothers Felix Espino and Sal Espino, and many nieces and nephews.

Margarita worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's trucking company for many years. After that, she ran her own home daycare, where she cared for several young children throughout the years, including her grandsons. She enjoyed gardening, and always took great pride in her large vegetable garden and fruit trees. She also loved cooking for her family.

Margarita was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother. She loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family.
