Margaret Eldiva Schmidt was born in Gilroy on September 11, 1930.  She  passed away peacefully on January 21, 2020.   She  lived in Gilroy all her life. She was happily married for 32 years to Peter Schmidt.  She is survived by her son Danny and her daughter Linda, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday,  February 1, 2020 - 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Cemetery, 900 First Street, Gilroy.
