On June 15th, 2020 Manuela Delarosa passed away peacefully in her home.

Manuela was born on January 27th, 1926 in Carlsbad New Mexico. For the past 55 years, she has resided in Gilroy where she raised her family. The whole family enjoyed visiting her in the iconic white clapboard house where she grew and tended to her beloved garden.

Manuela was strong in her Christian faith and her devotion to God. She was fearless in the way that she lived her life because of her beliefs and knowledge that God had carried her through many difficulties. She was also committed to her family and prayed for them every single day- the most powerful form of love that she could give. In addition, she had a heart of generosity and selflessness, giving 94.5 years of unconditional love to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel. She is survived by her five children Carmen, Julian, Raul, Ruben, and Rose. She had ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She will be incredibly missed by us all and we will carry her in our hearts forever.
