Manuela Castillo, born June 1, 1928 in Brawley, California to Rosalio and Paula Perez, peacefully passed away December 17, 2016 surrounded by her only surviving child, Jenny, and family. Grandmother of 12, great­grandmother of 15. Manuela worked as a food processor for Joseph Gubser Garlic for 35 years. Special thanks to Dr. George Green. Manuela was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Emilio Castillo, children Sarah Tanaka, Julia Benitez, Sally Ann Morales, Elpidio Morales Jr, and Antonio Morales.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
