Manuel Trinidad, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1944 in Los Angeles and resided in Gilroy for the last 40 years.

Manuel is survived by his wife of 38 years, Irene Trinidad. He is also survived by his children Cyndilyn Trinidad, Chris (Rod) Hill, Rey (Laurie) Trinidad, Thomas (Mary) Lujan, Joseph (Wendy) Lujan, Tina (Steve) Marquez; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers and sisters Chita (Mike) Rodriguez, Emily Rodriguez, Pio Trinidad and Angie Trinidad as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Lupe Rodriguez and Isabel Martinez and his brother Cecil Trinidad.
Manuel was employed by Birdseye for 30 years. He enjoyed working on his house, coaching little league, gardening and country western music and dancing. He was a very loving and kind family man with a smile that lit up the room. He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.

A visitation will begin 10:00am, Friday, July 8th at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church.
