Obituary
Luther C. Martinez passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice Martinez. Survived by their children Christina & Louie Garcia, Jr. & Liz Martinez, Nancy & Pete Santana, Geno Martinez, Tom & Karen Martinez, and Art & Toni Martinez. Grandfather of 14. Great-Grandfather of 9. Luther was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Martinez.
Luther was born in Greely, CO on March 2, 1931, a Veteran of the Korean War he retired from Gilroy Foods after 35 years as a truck driver. Upon retiring, Luther enjoyed helping his children and grandchildren with anything they needed. He will be dearly missed by all.
A Visitation will begin Monday 10:00 AM followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 PM both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
