Lupe Camarillo Escajeda, 78, passed away on November 25, 2012 with her family by her side.

She was born on December 14, 1933 in Piru, CA. She came to Gilroy in 1945 where she was raised.

Widow to her late husband Manuel Escajeda.

A business owner of a restaurant/bar for many years in Union City, later on worked as an office manager for Tri-Pallet Co. In Morgan Hill, then moved to Livingston where she resigned as a homemaker to all her loved ones.

Lupe was very much devoted to her family. Homemade tortillas & beans were always ready to eat. A die hard S.F. 49er fan is who she was. She is also known in our family for her hand knitted dish towels that she made for all of us.

Lupe is survived by her son and spouse Alex & Cherie Esparza, daughter Corinne Marci & son Larry Esparza, sisters Delphina Kilcoyne & Mary Aguilera, brothers Bobby Camarillo & Johnny Camarillo. Grand-kids Bryan & Brandon Esparza, Kathleen Teixeira, Charlie Marci, Michelle, Stephanie, & Lauren Esparza. Great-grand kids Brittney Hall, Sierra, Evan & Eric Esparza, Daniel, Ryan, & Nicole Teixeira, and Harmony & Phenix.

Preceded in death by her parents Francisco & Geronima Camarillo, brothers Socorro Avila & Frank Camarillo.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at Habing Family Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. Then to St. Mary's Church, Gilroy for Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilroy.
