Luis Bertao Rocha passed away on Sunday, March 1st, 2020 at the age of 60. Luis was born on the island of Terceira, in Azores, Portugal. He immigrated to the United States in 1969 with his parents and six siblings. He was a successful business man, who specialized in the drywall industry. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, and traveling. Spending time with close friends and family was important to him and something he truly loved.

Luis is survived by his wife, Fiorella, his four children, Zachary (14), Jacob (12), Jennifer Campuzano, and Louie Pereira, and his siblings Fernando Rocha, Mary Rosa, Joe Rocha, and Albert Rocha. He is preceded in death by his parents, Filomena and Manuel Rocha, and siblings, Nilda Furtado and Valentino Rocha.

Luis will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, his generosity, his kind heart and his smile. He was a good man in every sense: a good father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was an extraordinary human being with unwavering patience. He was a strong man, yet gentle and sensitive at the same time. When he walked into a room, people would take notice of his strong presence, yet genuine and inviting energy. He made friends feel like family

All those lives he has touched are invited to attend services in his honor. Viewing to begin 4:00pm, Friday, March 6 ^th at Habing Family Funeral Home. Rosary and Mass begin 12:30pm, Saturday, March 7 ^th at St. Catherine Church, 17500 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill. Entombment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
