Luis Marcelo Jardin passed away in Tepic Nayarit, Mexico on October 23, 2013. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife; Rosaura Jardin; daughters; Gloria Court (Mark), Raquel Roybal (Ben) and Juanita Jardin. Grandchildren; Autumn, Jonathan and Christopher Court; Daniel Valdez, Alex and Jade Bardrick; the mother of his children; Gloria Leiva. Also survived by many loving family members in Cuba and Mexico.

Luis was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam for nine years. He was an expert sharp-shooter and very proud of his time served for his country. He will be remembered for his love of his family, his kindness to strangers and his always present smile and ability to see the good in everyone.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at New Hope Community Church in Gilroy on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
