Obituary
Lucy A. Gori left us on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born in Watsonville, on November 9, 1939. Lucy grew up with her sister Ada out on a ranch in Gilroy. Lucy graduated from Gilroy High School in 1957 and went on to receive her AA at Hartnell College. Lucy soon realized that entrepreneurship was her passion and strength, and founded Town and Country Fashions
on April 12, 1967. Lucy had a gift for making her customers not only look great, but also feel special while they were in her store. Lucy enjoyed
traveling, spending time with friends, and flying with her partner in crime of 34 years, Richard Scattini. Lucy was an avid walker, putting in 5-10 miles a day for most of her life. She loved hot rods, the ocean, and Gardenias. Lucy was a bright light in this world. She could light up a room the minute she walked in, and was always the life of the party. Lucy never held back. She cherished and lived each moment to the fullest. Lucy is survived by her partner of 34 years, Richard Scattini. Lucy's life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 17

at 10am, at Habing Family Funeral Home located at 129 4

Street, Gilroy, CA. Inurnment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
