Lucia (Cuata) Martinez Gutierrez was born on August 30, 1954 in San Antonio, TX.  She passed on November 7, 2019 in Gilroy, CA.

Lucia enjoyed going to the movies, spending her Sundays at the flea market with her husband Alfonso, and making memories with all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Juan Martinez, her mother Martina Martinez, her daughter Patricia Sanchez and nephew Rene Flores.  Lucia is survived by her husband Alfonso Gutierrez Sr daughters:  Brenda Sanchez (Guillermo), Lorraine Gutierrez, son: Alfonso Gutierrez Jr. : brothers Juan Martinez Jr (Mary), Lucio Martinez (Lorie): sisters Gloria Escovedo (Gabriel), Maria Lopez (Dan), Josie Martinez, Stella Martinez, Yolanda Sicard (Alfred): grandchildren Teresa Medina, Brianna Ceja, Andrea Ceja, David Medina (Jr), Dion Medina, Alanay Gutierrez, Daniella Gutierrez :great grandchildren Alexia Medina, Ezaiah Medina, Dominic Medina, Maribel Medina, Unique Medina : many nieces and nephews

Lucia leaves behind many beautiful and heartful memories to all who knew and loved her. She will live on in a special place in the hearts of each one of us.
