Born in New Mexico and raised in Gilroy, CA, Louie passed away at the home of his son, Louie Jr., in White City, OR on February 19th. He was surrounded by the love, compassion and support of his son, daughter -in-law, and granddaughters during his short battle with cancer.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Eugene and Dolores Ann Sheedy, and his brothers, Padre Mateo Sheedy and Mark Stanley Sheedy.
He is survived by his son Louie Jr., daughter-in-law Amy, and granddaughters Taylor and Katelyn of White City, OR. His siblings Mary (Michael) Kroeger of Mtn. View, David (Lisa) Sheedy of Gilroy, John (Nancy) Sheedy of Sparks, NV, Genie (Bryan) Yamaoka of Hollister, and Michael Sheedy of Gilroy. His Aunt Lucille Damberger of Mtn. View, as well as several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy.
