LOUIS DE LA CRUZ. 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at his home in Gilroy. Husband of Yolanda De La Cruz of Gilroy. Father of Louis De La Cruz Jr. of San Jose, Janice De La Cruz of Morgan Hill & Denise Camacho (Tim) of Gilroy.
Grandfather of Cheyenne, Cristian & Connor.
Brother of Vera Ramos, Carmen Wheeler (Steve) and the late Margaret De La Cruz. Preceded by his parents, Francisco & Celia De La Cruz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A native of Eagle Pass, TX.

Louis raised in Gilroy and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1960. Air Force Veteran. Member of the San Jose, Gilroy & San Juan Bautista VFW,
Past Commander of the San Jose American Legion. Worked for United Air Lines as a Aircraft Mechanic for 37 yrs., retiring in 2002.
Favorite pastime being "Lucky Louie" and frequenting Indian Casino's. Avid San Francisco 49ers & Giants Fan. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
