Louie Cordova passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, with his family by his side. We lost the kindest, sweetest, most loving man. He was always there for everyone that needed him. Lending an ear, making you laugh, teasing you, telling you a story. He was a wonderful husband, soul mate, father, papa, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. He made everyone's lives better just by being a part of them. He's taken a little piece of each of us with him. We will love you forever and miss you always.
Louie's life started January 30, 1949 in Burbank, California. On this day his proud parents, Alfonso and Dora welcomed their son unto their world.
Louie served in the U.S. Air Force from March 13, 1969 – January 19, 1973. He served one year in Vietnam and he was honorably discharged with the rank of a sergeant.
Louie fell in love with Mona, who would be his soul mate for the rest of his life. They raised four beautiful children together Michelle, Lil Louie, Randy and Rhonda.
He retired from the Federal Government. Prior to his illness he loved being around family and friends. He was into photography, fishing and just having fun. Once he was not able to get around, family and T.V. were his way of the day. Starting from his morning show "The Price is Right" to his lunchtime favorite "Perry Mason" and like everyone else evening laughs with the Big Bang Theory.
Louie is survived by his wife, Mona. His children Michelle (Ruben) Lil Louie (Jeanene) Randy and Rhonda (Jason.) Grandchildren Sebastian, Hannah, Emily and Chloe. Siblings Nancy, John, David and Frank. Also many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy.
