Lorraine Juanita Tucker, born May 21 ^st , 1933 in Los Angeles CA, passed away March 1st, 2020, peacefully in her sleep. Lorraine had 3 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and several nieces and nephews. She also had many family and friends too numerous to list.

She was preceded in death by husband Bruce Tucker, second husband William Chambers, father Ernest Carvajal, mother Amelia Carvajal, daughter Karenita Tucker, son Terrence Tucker, and nephew Albert Romero.

She is survived by her daughter Cat Tucker, son-in-law Sean Geiger, grandson Austin Geiger, granddaughter Angelique Bean, along with sisters Barbara Ragsdale and Cynthia Carvajal and brother Robert Carvajal.

Lorraine was a lady of many talents. She was a nurse by profession. She also was a great cook, seamstress, and avid horse lover. Her many hobbies were camping, shooting, hunting, and horseback riding. She at one time made and sold silver jewelry, owned and worked a small Mexican restaurant with her mother in Los Angeles, and in her younger years owned a small antique shop, also with her mother. After many years in southern California, she relocated to Mariposa, CA with her late husband Bill. She loved her home in Mariposa where she raised horses. In her later years she relocated to San Jose, CA so as to be close to her daughter Cat.

A rosary will be held Wednesday evening, March 4 ^th 2020 at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy CA.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday March 5 ^th , 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11 First St., Gilroy, CA.

Lorrie will be laid to rest in Mariposa, CA at St. Joseph's Catholic Church alongside husband William Chambers, mother Amelia Carvajal, and uncle Eulalio Mingura, on a date to be determined.
