Lora Sue Barreras formerly of Morgan Hill and Gilroy, born July 6, 1949 in Santa Cruz, CA passed away at her home in Los Banos on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 after a battle with cancer.
Wife of Christopher Barreras of Los Banos. Mother of James Rodney (Denebola) Dover of Hollister and Jenny Brannon of Los Banos. Grandmother of Briahna and Brandon Baker; Ashley Garcia, Alyssa Dover, Justin Brannon and Delaney Dover. Sister of Al (Barbara) and Kevin Williams and the late Janice George. Daughter of the late Willard and Ruby Vesteen Williams. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Santa Cruz, raised in Aromas and Gilroy areas. Graduated from Gilroy High School. She worked at Christopher Ranch, Gilroy Foods, TG & Y, Orchard Supply Hardware, Scientific Games and Cidco.
Visitation will begin Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with Funeral Services at 2:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. Donations to the American Cancer Society preferred.
