Lois Locker was born on May 20,1926 in Owensboro, Kentucky. She passed away on May 7, 2016 after a long illness. She was 89 years old. Lois was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Hammons and mother Nora Hammons, sisters, Wilma Yokum, Margie Shuker, Thelma Willet and brother Willard Hammons.

She is survived by daughters, Shirley Manning and Nora Nambiar and sons-in-law, Roger Manning and Shiva Nambiar.

Lois has 5 grandchildren, Ken Manning, Richard Manning, Bobby Manning, Nicole Baker and Monique Nambiar. She also has 9 great grandchildren, Dean Manning, Derek Manning, Ella Manning, Ava Manning, Dennis Baker, Destiny Baker, Noel Baker, Matthew Smith and Shayne Manning.

Lois moved to California at age 19 where she resided in San Francisco and San Mateo for 35 years. She owned a Dress Shop in San Francisco. In 1981 she moved to Gilroy where she resided with her daughter Shirley and family.

Lois loved life and her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, laying by the pool, gardening, she loved to travel and shopping.

She always was ready to enjoy family and friends to play Yahtzee or card games, even Wii games with the kids.

She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

A visitation will begin 1:00 PM, followed by a 7:15 PM vigil service on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Habing Family Funeral Home.
