Linda L. Vargas

Linda L. Vargas, age 65, of Gilroy, California, passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2025, surrounded by the family she so fiercely loved. Born on November 5th,1960, in San Diego, California, Linda spent her life devoted to those she cherished most—her husband Jess, and their three sons Chrisopher (Liz), Nicholas (Erica), and Jonathan (Julieann). Loving Grandmother to Johnny Jess, Shailene, and Isaias. Fond sister of Mark (Stan) Shiplett, Brenda Shiplett, and Diana (Shiplett) Eaton.

For 40 beautiful years, Linda and Jess shared a marriage filled with laughter, loyalty, and endless love. She was deeply involved in her sons lives- whether helping with PTA, organizing Arts Alive events, or keeping watch during yard duty. Linda’s presence was a constant source of warmth and joy.

Known for her infectious laughter, sharp memory, heart of gold, and deep devotion she had for those she held closest. Linda always had a joyful spirit and an unmatched ability to have a good time. She loved to travel and embraced each new experience with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Above all else, Linda was devoted to her family. She dedicated her life to her boys, giving them unwavering love, support, and guidance, and took great pride In being their mother. She is survived by her husband and three son’s, who will forever cherish her memory and carry forward her strength, warmth, and sense of joy. Linda will be deeply missed.
