Linda joined her beloved Mom & Dad, Margaret (Peg) and George Cowley in heaven after a lengthy illness.  A kind hearted soul who left us much too soon, she is having a happy reunion with all those she loved who preceded her in death.

Born in Bethesda, MD, she lived in Cuba, and then Monterey where she grew up and graduated from MHS (1971) and attended SJSU and earned a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education, leading to her life working with children throughout the MPUSD for 39 years.

A highlight in her life was when she was a Job's Daughter and was elected Grand Bethel girl to Alberta, Canada.  This experience provided her opportunity for travel throughout California and Alberta, and brought her much joy.

She enjoyed time with her family, quilting, lunch with the "Old Biddies" and her puppy dogs.

She is survived by her sisters Carol Cowley (Oak Hills) and Pam (Robert) Chapin (Monterey) and cousins, Martha, Alan, Andrew, Kenny, PJ Laden (Marina), Dirk Cowley (Bakersfield), Mike Cowley (Ohio) and many other cousins throughout the country.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Seaside.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
