Leone Wilson Stamps went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, March 6th, at 4:40 am. Leone suffered a series of strokes this past year, with a final, massive stroke leading to her passing.

Lee was born on September 27th,1948 and grew up in Pleasant Hill, CA with her brothers Russ and Chuck Standley, Dorice Standley Pringle, and Ernie Wilson. She graduated from College Park High in 1966, and attended Diablo Valley Community College and Fairwood Bible Institute before marrying the love of her life, Roy Stamps, on February 4th, 1968.

Roy and Lee had 6 children: Michelle, Mike, Marty, Mindy, Matthew, and Mark. Lee was the center of her family - a lively and kind mother who loved and encouraged her kids and grandkids. Her favorite place to be was out in her garden in the sunshine. She had the most sensitive heart towards animals and a hobby of spontaneously adopting pets from the shelter.

Lee had a gift for helping the elderly and she started Roy and Lee's Guest Home on Madrone Avenue, MH, from 1976-1984. Lee loved Jesus with all her heart and was a committed member of Morgan Hill Bible Church. While serving at Bible Study Fellowship and the Emmaus community, she made many dear, life-long friends. Lee enjoyed teaching at Cornerstone Christian school and Vine Academy, impacting young lives for Christ. She was passionate about supporting others through their grief and helped start Stephen's Ministry at Morgan Hill Bible Church along with Discovery Counseling Center. Lee's life was marked by her servant heart for others, as well as her tremendous sacrificial love for her family. She was a dear friend, loving sister, beloved wife, and devoted mom and grandma.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; her children, Michelle Montoya and family, Michael Stamps and family, Matthew Stamps and family,
Mark Stamps and family; her brothers, Chuck Standley and Ernie Wilson; her niece, Janice Pringle; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Lee is now reunited with her children Marty and Mindy - we will see you on that beautiful shore!

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am Monday, March 17, 2025 at Morgan Hill Bible Church, 15055 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill.
