Leolie May Gaerlan Konopka, age 59, resident of Gilroy, battled cancer for over a decade before peacefully passing the morning of 9/27/24.

Leolie was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and beloved friend. She worked for both O'Connor Hospital and Saint Louise Regional Hospital, working in all departments of the lab, and was currently a blood bank supervisor. She made many life-long connections during her time there.

She is survived by her husband Frank Konopka, her children David Octavi, Amber & Ashly Konopka, her brothers Marv & Jun Sanidad, her sister-in-laws Amy & Nayeli Sanidad, her nieces Hailey & Ziamora Sanidad, her nephew Ben Sanidad & his wife Alisha Sanidad, and her loving parents Leonard and Lilia Sanidad.
