Laura Elena Anzualda passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 55, in a hospital, following complications related to ongoing health struggles.

Born on June 11, 1969, in Ignacio Allende, Zacatecas Mexico, Laura later tirelessly worked on her American citizenship - a proud moment for her.

From a young age, Laura battled serious illness - fighting cancer in her youth and later living with Type 2 diabetes. No matter what challenges came her way, Laura faced them head-on with courage and fierce determination. She never backed down from a battle, always believing she could win.

Among her many joys, Laura shared a special bond with her "feathered babies." Her four babies, Oliver, Mally, Beasty, and Duckie would bring a twinkle to her eye. She loved spending quiet moments with them.

Laura was known for her unwavering faithfulness to her friends and to her beloved husband, always showing up with kindness and love. Her warmth and loyalty left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Laura is survived by her loving husband Abel Anzualda, father, Luis Lopez, and her devoted mother, Petra Lopez. She is also survived by her sisters, Lorena Lucio and Esperanza Horcajo, and her brothers, Ricardo Lopez and Ventura Lopez. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will carry her memory in their hearts.
