Larry attended San Jose State University and enjoyed a successful career in the construction trades with Herion Roofing and as the long-time owner of Cedar Roofing Company. Larry was vibrant and active and enjoyed sports throughout his life, from basketball and track & field at Fremont High, to racquetball at the Schoebers Athletic Club in San Jose, bowling in the Nisei League at Gilroy Bowl, and golfing with friends and family. He was known for his physical fitness and was an avid runner and walker, and he instilled this upon his children and grandchildren. Larry was devoted to his family and a loyal and trusted friend to many. His honesty, respect, and loyalty in both his personal and business life was endearing to those around him. At his request, a private family service will be held. Those that wish to honor his memory may do so to the charity of their choice in Larry's name.
