Kathlyn "Kay" Alice Brown, 88, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Gilroy, CA.

She was born on December 13, 1927 in San Francisco, CA to Adolph Lorenzetti and Calthia Parry. Kay was one of five children, George, LaVerne, Donald, and her twin sister Ora. In 1949 she married Robert J. Brown and together they raised their three daughters Cathy, Joan, and Janice.

Kay was particularly known for love of helping people and her active participation in her two senior bowling leagues.

She is survived by her twin sister Ora, daughters Cathy, Joan, and Janice and her grandchildren Chris, Eric, and Marissa.

Vigil Service will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 6:00 PM and Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, CA.

Memorial donations may be made in Kay's name to the Operation Freedom Paws at 13920 Llagas Ave, San Martin, CA 95046.
